
Sarah is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, practicing in the state of Texas under the supervision of Jennifer Smith, LPC-S. She is a wife and a proud mom to a preteen and twin toddlers, bringing both professional expertise and personal understanding to her work with families.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys listening to audiobooks and spending quality time with family and friends. She was inspired to enter the helping profession at a young age by her veteran sibling, and she remains deeply committed to supporting others through life’s challenges. Sarah approaches counseling from a client-centered perspective, creating a supportive, empathetic space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. She went on to obtain two master’s degrees from Amberton University: a Master of Arts in School Counseling and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is also a certified teacher and school counselor in the state of Texas.
With nine years of experience in public education, Sarah has served as both a special education teacher and a school counselor. Her background provides her with a strong foundation in supporting students, families, and individuals navigating academic, emotional, and developmental needs.
Sarah welcomes clients of all ages! She enjoys working with children and adolescents, as well as adults.
Sarah offers in-person sessions in Forney, Texas, as well as virtual appointments through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. This flexibility allows her to support clients in a way that feels comfortable and accessible, serving individuals across the state of Texas.
Her hourly rate is $95.
