Stephanie has a war

Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in  Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University. Stephanie is passionate about providing holistic, trauma-informed care and  considers it a privilege to support individuals through life’s most  difficult and transformative seasons.

Stephanie has a warm, integrative approach rooted in Adlerian therapy and  Internal Family Systems. Depending on the client’s needs, she may also  incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior  Therapy (DBT). Her goal is to create a safe and compassionate space  where clients can explore their story, build inner strength, and find  healing.

Stephanie has a special interest in treating complex trauma, disordered eating,  self-harm, and mood and attachment disorders. Since 2010, she has worked  closely with bariatric surgeons and their patients, gaining unique  insight into the mental, emotional, and physical challenges that  accompany both pre- and post-operative experiences. She is passionate  about supporting individuals through these life changes with empathy and  clinically sound strategies.

As a certified crisis counselor with the Suicide Text Line since 2020, Stephanie has helped people navigate a wide range of mental health concerns,  including suicidal ideation, sexual abuse, unplanned pregnancy and  postpartum depression, relationship distress, and anxiety and  depression. This work has deepened her understanding of crisis  intervention and early support.
