Arden is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas, practicing under the supervision of Jennifer Smith, LPC-S. She is passionate about supporting individuals from all walks of life, regardless of their beliefs, abilities, or circumstances.
Arden’s goal is for every client to leave therapy feeling empowered, capable, and truly seen. She strives to create an authentic, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their challenges, embrace their strengths, and navigate life’s difficult moments. She believes everyone deserves to feel valued, supported, and reminded that they are never alone.
Outside of the counseling room, Arden enjoys getting lost in a good book, watching reality TV, spending time with her Corgi, and making frequent trips to T.J.Maxx.
Arden holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Dallas Baptist University. She is passionate about providing trauma-informed care and considers it a privilege to walk alongside individuals through life’s most challenging and transformative seasons.
Arden takes a warm, integrative approach to counseling, grounded in Gestalt and somatic therapies. She tailors her approach to each client’s unique needs and may also incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to support emotional regulation, coping skills, and personal growth.
Arden has a special interest in working with trauma, abuse, and women’s issues. During her graduate internship, she worked alongside a pregnancy center, supporting women navigating a range of mental health concerns, including sexual abuse, domestic violence, unplanned pregnancy, postpartum challenges, and relationship distress. This experience deepened her understanding of the complex challenges women face and strengthened her commitment to providing compassionate, individualized care to those navigating these experiences.
